Buru is focused on developing our 100%-owned Rafael Gas Project in northern Western Australia's Canning Basin

Positioned for domestic markets, it is a gamechanger for WA's energy future and the Kimberley region of WA. 

By developing Rafael, Buru aims to provide local economic and employment opportunities to the Kimberley, while providing Western Australia with a supply of low-cost and reliable natural gas.

First drilled in 2021, Rafael is a significant conventional gas and condensate discovery, assessed to hold between 85 Bscf and 523 Bscf of gas, and 1.8MMstb - 10.6MMstb of condensate.*
